Hi, I’m Anneliese.
I’m an author, storyteller and pastor, with a strong track record of being deeply capable and occasionally chaotic in ways that make great stories later.
I love Jesus, meaningful truth, and saying the things most people are thinking but aren’t quite brave enough to say out loud.
For years, I believed being capable meant carrying everything well, and that strong faith meant having everything together. Now I’m learning that faith looks less like holding it all perfectly and more like showing up honestly, staying close to Jesus, and trusting Him with the parts I can’t control.
That’s what I write and speak about: the tension between competence and surrender, confidence and awkwardness, purpose and the occasional “what am I even doing?”
Because capable women don’t need another voice telling them to try harder or get it together. Sometimes we need permission to put down the armour, laugh at the chaos, and remember that we were never meant to carry everything alone.
